He will end up at one of those play-off hopeful type clubs like Wrexham, Birmingham, Boro etc, that don't have the parachute payments. Can't see him going to a prem side and don't think any of the relegated sides would want him
 
I can see him at a birmingham or wrexham. One of those sides who are ambitious to get promoted and will probably pay more than the going rate

Personally i thought Rangers would have been a great move for him. He'd thrive in that league, good chance of winning trophies and would get the occasional european game

My limited amount of googling indicates that as he was 24 this season we don't get any fee.

"Under FA Rules, a club is only entitled to a compensation fee from another English club if the player is under the age of 24 prior to the 30th of June of the year their contract ends"
