Dan Neil

Noah Sadiki has 0 goals and 0 assists in 2,292 minutes of PL football. DN also has 0 and 0 in 14 minutes of PL football and 370 minutes of Championship football.

Source FB Ref

So sadiki and jobe, in similar leagues in a similar position on the field, have similar stats in this pointless look at our ex players.
Zero on both counts… ah someone beat me to it!

He’s got 7 yellows and beat the mags twice if that helps 😆

Of course that helps.

If we didn't get promoted half of the team would have left and you want to talk about being fickle.
Jobe had already signed for Dortmund before the season was over and you want to use words talking about loyalty 😂

Footballers only care about their career and you want the club and fans to show loyalty towards millionaire footballers? get a grip.

Neil is a average championship midfielder who wouldn't get in any prem team, not even wolves.

Jobes sale was win win, it would have funded the next promotion push, football trading is part of the game, so no idea what you are wittering on about.

Football supporters care about moments and periods of glory, which provides stories and recollections for years to come.

There is many a journey man footballer I despise who played for our club, but those mostly young lads who over performed last season are all hero’s to me.

Players become hero’s for their exploits not there bank balances.

I think your missing the simple joy of watching and relating to footballers bring happiness to the club and fans.

Glad I don’t occupy your cynical mindset.
Dan Neil Wouk of been decent back up but would of got no game time

it’s pure guess work but you assume he would have played about as much as Cirkin.
The reason he didn’t get the chance to was probably his own doing re contracts, but he’s playing at his current level in championship. He’s still young enough to tighten up elements of his game but you have to conclude in all probability he will be a good championship player for the rest of his career. Good luck to the lad he was brilliant for us
Jobe and Neil since the end of the last season, 0 goals 2 assists. Stinking.

Sounds like that makes you happy …. Weird
just another honeyman who will be forgotton and make himself a journeyman , having said that weve just payed 30 million for a centre mid whos not much better 🤣

Honey man unfortunately for him is associated with the lowest of the low periods in our history, it’s hard to have any positive emotion about him.
Dan may or may not have a similar career trajectory, that’s a matter of opinion, but given what Dan achieved and left us with it’s a disingenuous comparison
For me personally he's lived the dream that all us Sunderland fans had when we were kids, he's played for, captained and led his club to glory a few times. I hope the lad goes on and has a great career.

Why anyone would feel any different is beyond me

The gadge who’s on about the Honeyman comparison is obviously a knacker because he’s also comparing Diarra to him as well.

We really do have some clueless individuals who follow us.

Admittedly not sen too much, but the games, or portion of games I've seen for Ipswich, Dan Neil has been comfortably one the worst players on the pitch. And I say that as someone who was a big fan of his whilst he was here.

Bet the lad is gutted, despite being second in the Bundesliga and playing Champions League football this season...

Fair play, not everyone is willing to admit they're clueless.

Watched him first half against Millwall and he certainly wasn't in that category. He hadn't played football for the first half of the season, he was never going to be shit hot from the off.

Sadly, that view has pretty much been confirmed by Ipswich fans too, although he has had no game time for a long time so will take him time to get up to speed etc.

He should have at least 1 assist. He definitely played a ball through to someone who scored at some point. He was also instrumental in Brobbeys winner against the mags.
