Dan Neil

You've used percentiles rather than actual stats or per 90, the latter which would be more relevant in a side by side comparison. You have given no context of what the actual ones used are - I couldn't find them to directly compare on fbref, despite there being many more available for a bigger more contextual breakdown and then you've just added the ones up that you've provided - so it's a total, derived from a percentile based on an average against Championship midfielders - in God knows what actual areas and strengths.

This will probably mess the page up but this is per 90 and it's much closed than you would have anyone believe. If you look at the overalls in some departments rather than the per 90 then Neil probably wins it.

What ever happened to just going to the match, using your eyes and forming an opinion on what you had seen.
This isn’t a dig by the way.

Jobe was better.
Jobe seems a good lad.

But getting 30 million, or whatever it was , for someone who is slow, can't head the ball and rarely has much influence on games is probably the best bit of transfer business this club has ever done.

Sorry but that's my opinion . I fully expect him to be back on loan at somewhere like Birmingham next season.

He had a massive influence on the game that got us promoted.

The SMB and RTG were two separate message boards that merged because the same people were basically posting the same stuff on both.

And yes, 2006 is when this account started, I had others before.

Do I insert "laughing smilies" now?
We’ve all heard that one before. I bet you had hundreds of accounts before you created this one🤣🤣

Don't upset the Dan Club - they'll be along soon in Mustard and Onion flavour or their feathered version to tell you how much of a hater you are
There's a new standard at Sunderland... Dan Neil is probably a good lad, did a job here but his level of football is not sufficient anymore!! The romantics need to come to terms with their broken heart strings... maybe watch old matches from League 1 or the Championship with a tear in their eye!!

I think there really is a lot of this particularly over this young honest pro - but a pro in the Championship.

I agree. Apparently people don't accept 'anecdotes' anymore and will often dismiss opinions if theyre not backed by stats. Everything has to be brought back to a stat and people have become experts at interpreting them despite us not having the level of data available that pro clubs have.
So did Dan Neil....by getting subbed off.
You miss the first half then?
