We didn’t because it never happened, there was the odd whisper & speculation but nowt materialised
If a prem club wants a lower league player it usually happens

You didn’t even read the post, you picked a tiny bit of it apart, I don’t THINK! THINK not he is definitely not good enough. Huge difference that if you took several seconds to read a post properly you’d be able to see what my point is. I go on to say he’ll have a career where he will play 400+ more games I just don’t THINK they will be in the premier league. I also say he didn’t struggle that season, but again you ran in full steam ahead without reading it

It’s an opinions based board and writing in 1 sentence paragraphs doesn’t make your opinion any more or less valuable than mine, however most people try to debate.
 
Hopefully the likes of him, Patterson and O'Nien go somewhere where the fans don't make up reasons to constantly get on their back.

Big part of the reason why we've gone from League One to the Premier League and still massive threads slagging them all off on here even though they haven't played at all really this season. A bit sad to be honest.

99.9% of all transfer news is absolute bollocks. I don't take much notice of journalism these days as social media has made it a joke. Anyone can start rumours.

We turned down a bid from Real Madrid for him

If he had a 3 year contract he would have more chance of minutes, they’d want to maximise the fee they could get for him. As it stands currently the club will get nowt for him whether he gets minutes or not.

I’m not saying anything bad against him, I wanted him to get minutes, impress & get a new contract. I like him, especially as he is a local lad.

It’s at the stage now where no other team will pay a fee for him as he’s out of contract in a few months, it looks like he won’t get minutes here either so may as well get his wages off the books. It’s a shame that it’s come to this but it’s time for both him & the club to move on. There is still one chance left, play him against Everton, he has a blinder, scores a goal & sets up a couple, the club offers then offers him a deal which he is happy with.
