I thought Neil had a great 90 minutes last night, he was everywhere

Mayenda was on his toes as soon as he saw the possible back pass. Very few opportunities but was there when it counted.U know nothing about football if u think we didn’t play well tonight and got lucky mate.
We went with a plan to frustrate and limit Coventrys attacking threats.
We sacrificed the ball and limited them to the odd scramble here and there and then took our chances when they committed too many players forward.
The second goal was a bad mistake but mayenda is the only one anticipating he might leave the pass short.
That’s just luck !! It’s clever play.
He battled like fuck all night and filled holes there’s different ways you can have a good game and he had one.Thought Neil was poor again today, out of game too much, would have liked to see him trying to get hold of ball more.
In your opinion, in my opinion you come across as a bit of a prick.Anyone who thinks it wasn't Dan Ballard is a bit fucked in the head to be honest.
Mayenda not too far behind.
As I say, I wasn't the one looking to dig out other posters after a great win. In fairness though that wasn't you, others had got me back up and if my response to your post was a bit strong, I apologise. I was however generalising, and stick by Ballard being MOTM by some distance. In your opinion, in my opinion you come across as a bit of a prick.
Fair play, all about opinions. As I say, I wasn't the one looking to dig out other posters after a great win. He was outstanding and was only beaten to my MOTM vote by the sublime performance of Big Dan Ballard.I thought Neil had a great 90 minutes last night, he was everywhere
This. Plus, the back pass was a mistake, but it wasn’t an unforced error. Pressure from Enzo breathing down his neck was key.U know nothing about football if u think we didn’t play well tonight and got lucky mate.

I voted for Mayenda but on looking back at the match sober, Ballard was outstanding, some of his tackles blocks and headers were different class, but no one played badly. For once in a long while they were all on the same page.As I say, I wasn't the one looking to dig out other posters after a great win. Tell me you know nothing about tactics without telling me! Jesus wept man.We got lucky tonight. We could have most 3-1 easily, but let’s enjoy it and move on. But we didn’t play well and it wasn’t a good performance anyone who thinks we played well rewatch the game. But it doesn’t matter!
But gee if we get to the final we’re mikes off beating Sheff U.

I've watched a full replay twice .Suggest some should do the same .Neil wasn't shockingly bad . He did make a couple of misplaced passes but no more than his fellow midfielders . Not sure what he could have done for their goal, perhaps he could have wiped Hamer out .He can definitely be a good player, but was shockingly bad in the playoff final.
That can happen though. I certainly would like to keep him but we can't let him run down his contract, and I'd be worried if he was first choice in midfield next season.
There would have to be an update soon regardless, he’s in the last year of his deal now.Very much doubt he leaves, nothing new on contract situation.
