Carley , she is only part time I think runs a cake delivery place. It’s a big gamble for someone not experienced in managing the whole caboodle
 
Food was always good and the whole dining experience has always been very good, they seem like really nice people. The biggest assets to the business are the two things that you aren't buying. I hope someone can make a good go of it and continue the standards because it's the best place for a meal in Sunderland imo.

It's a difficult one. On the face of it £75k for a business with £76k adjusted net profits is massive bargain. Especially considering they're closed two or three days a week at present.

As you say though, presumably their biggest asset is leaving with the company. Maybe a buyer could keep him on?

Back open this week, we didnt want to rush re opening. All positive so far and similar booking throughout the week that their was pre lockdown so we cant complain. Business is for sale for half price to the fact we are ready to move onto our next venture. We will of course still put our hearts into the place as we have from day one!

Regarding the financial side, the books can be viewed but yes we take a salary. It is a extremely healthy business and can continue with the right people. It is a bargain of a business and to be honest it is bad for Sunderland as a whole if no body can see the potential. We also must say we would stay for a period of time to make sure a great transition was made as we would love nothing more than to see the place continue and if not improve in the future. This is out of respect for any new owners and the customers.

Too much work and heart has gone into the place to walk away!
