That's a very good point actually and something I hadn't thought about, nothing is actually decided this Saturday.

Excessively harsh that as it completely ignores changes at club and impact this had on player recruitment, for a start we didn’t have enough first team player for a 5 aside when preseason started and the majority of them didn’t want to be here, as most other clubs had done their recruiting by then and we were not only in the position of having to move players on before we could recruit we were left having to recruit from the crumbs so as to speak.

That we were able to put a competitive squad together at all is a credit to the new owners and the staff

If we are in this position next season you point will be valid but not this year, in fact the players etc have done magnificently

I have a saying in business that you get the level of trade you can cope with.
Frankly the club has proved it can’t cope with the crowd demands and hence people don’t go.
Try getting in touch with the ticket office....you can’t. An easy way to reduce your crowd.
The security presence and procedures at recent home games have proved woefully inadequate. The consequence is tickets not sold in North stand. Have a look at the buy a ticket page to see what I mean. It’s empty. How many of those people have just decided not to go.
You can try and run the club on a shoestring but there comes a point where you start the process of impacting on your revenue. It’s never just one thing it’s the compounded effect of many things.

They don't help themselves like. Online you can choose a block you want to sit in but not the seat it just allocates next one on list. Plus you have to print them off yourself.
For example my 13 year old son who goes every week couldn't go to get tickets with mates on the bus on Monday night but still wanted to sit near them. I couldn't get through on phone so had to take him in car to ticket office last night to get him a ticket next to his mates.
Another problem he has had is he has no purchase history due to him paying cash each week and or me buying his tickets on my number. I tried to set up a customer number for him at ticket officer before last Portsmouth game to prevent this but the lady said they weren't allowed until next season. So all in all unless your buying one ticket on one customer number it's a right clart on.

Really. I've been to most away games this season and there's nobody more fed up and sick in the last month or so then me. Coming back from Fleetwood, which is perhaps one of the worst places I've ever been, with the rubbish result, sitting in a car knowing I had to be up at 6 for work I was having serious words with myself.

I'm currently sitting at work with the worst cold I've every had after 2 hours sleep, shivering but even if I have to take blankets and a flask I'll be there!

The playoff's have to be looked at as a totally different competition, a clean slate for the players for all our sake. People will not go and then moan if we get beat, however they are also to blame if they don't go, having a full house can make all the difference. I've never been so disappointed in our support as right now.
