Oh how I hope I’m wrong and get the @Keith S30S treatment over this but haway, it’s getting nigh on impossible to watch him at the crease

we all know it, the comms know it, the only ones who are determined not to acknowledge it are the England camp

i want the lad out for his own mental well-being. He has gone mentally and it’s very hard to watch

He has done nothing to warrant these repeated chances, in fact was very lucky to get into the team in the first place given his County championship record

Has zero footwork and seems unable to cope with any swing or seam movement which is pretty f***ing problematic when opening in England
 
I’m not sure he’s been done by swing, I think its been a straight ball, pitched around middle, angled across towards the slips, and missing the stumps by about two foot

then he does get clean bowled if they bring it in about 6 inches. Boult, Southee, bumrah etc etc all can do that. The saffers will be all watching and doing the same

never mind what Starc will be doing this time next year
