The demographic of people using apps is likely to be slightly skewed to younger people. Younger people tend to like American style craft beers compared to other older styles. I've massively generalised but it could have been a factor

I have no idea what the trust issue is but aye, I've definitely had that. Wasn't that long ago I didn't like IPAs.
