Think we're going to Edgbaston in August for the One Day Cup game. We had a lovely day at Worcester a couple of year ago in the One Day Cup. We'll keep ticking them off, we've provisionally got 3 nights booked for Leicester away in a few weeks time then 3 nights booked for Scarborough in July.

There’s a canny canteen at Leicester which does decent food at a reasonable price. It’s in a building next to the pavilion on the 1st floor. There’s big windows in there so you can watch the cricket as you eat. I spent a canny bit of time in there the other week as it was bloody freezing out in the stands. :lol:

We've booked a Travelodge £136 for 3 nights(can cancel 24hrs before) just outside Leicester provisionally. We both have time off but want to go abroad, so Leicester is a backup plan at the moment just incase
 
Seriously considering if i can get along to some of the 4 day games, take my lap top and do a bit of work whilst watching the cricket. Only issue i can see if battery life on my lap top

It’s fabulous mind. I love football and watching SAFC and all the singing and jumping about but there’s something so relaxing about sitting and watching a 4 day game. I usually take a book with me I’m reading or a magazine. Sit and chill with a pint. Go and get a bit of food whilst watching. Have a slow walk around the ground, etc…

Cricket is my favourite sport these days.

Take charger and pop into the sticky wicket, sure they'll have plugs. Charge it up during lunch/tea. Otherwise, have a look for a portable power pack, sure there will be ones that work for laptops

I agree, 4 day cricket watching Durham is great, more so when the sun is out, one of the few times I just feel totally relaxed

aye same for 2 years, crowds are big on the weekend games but not on these ridiculous ones

before covid and the 100, the Blast was absolutely thriving, the stat was that more people were now watching live cricket in England that at any point in history.

then they for some reason tried to copy the Big Bash, which itself is now a disaster, and we are left with this shit
