This kind of thing leaves a bit of a bad taste.

Things like transfer windows don't work perfectly but signing people like this isn't right. Why didn't they build a proper squad at the start of the season? It's short changing their fans and members and players who now get pushing away by the incomers. So. Not in favour as you might have guessed.

I could understand it to an extent while the 16.4 was depriving counties of their best players, but they should have most of them back now. If you have a deficiency in a certain role give a young lad a go

Because the shutdown for the 16.4 comes so late in the season, it messes up the finish to the CC. You can't really stop counties signing players went some are losing 8+ to the farce. You have no idea what will happen while they're away and how they'll pick up after.

If we went back to the Blast and had it finish mid July you could introduce a transfer deadline then and still have two months of the season left.

Think somerset had signed 2 Pakistan players for the end of season aswel. Both are struggling towards the bottom of div1

He's come on a lot since joining Lancs although it's taken a while to get where he is at the moment, opening has got to be the hardest position in the game.

And yes I agree, he's a proper opener not a makeshift one like Crawley.

Jennings has a lower test average than Crawley, he was hopeless opening in England
 
Be class if Northants could beat Surrey and really blow the title race open.

Really impressed with Northants this year. Thought they’d be bottom of the pile if I’m honest.
