Ollie Pope staking a claim for an england return. Another 80 for him today batting at 4, averaging about that this season as well.
 
Brooks looking great

nobody is mentioning Malan, but has been quality, you have to remember his personal circumstances when he faded away in the Ashes, he has to be in with a shout

Im more convinced than ever that Pope and Lawrence need to be nowhere near the side for a few years

Theyve had so many chances, what sort of message does it send to the young batsman scoring loads of runs if they just get picked again
 
If the ECB aren't going to sanction Yorkshire perhaps they can fuck them up by taking their only two in form batsmen for the rest of the season at least

You would have Vince in who has failed on two different goes what message would that send to young batsman

On topic I do agree with you on Brook, or Bohannon or even that Compton lad at Kent should get a look in ahead of the same old faces who have failed time and again to back up their obvious talent in the Test arena. I'd be disappointed if any of Vince, Pope, Lawrence or Malan were seen yet again come June

I don’t agree of Vince n malan

But I do agree on Lawrence and pope who are a massive reason on the batting collapses over the last 2 years

There’s some absolute talent in England like, I’m not having it that there’s not, maybe openers but middle order players? Loads. Pope n Lawrence are good players but I don’t think their techniques are suited to international cricket

It’s time to try some others
