It's amusing but I'm more interested in what he does with the ball, 5 an over in the first innings isn't great, maybe he shouldn't have been rested in the earlier gamesYou must be logged on to see media items
If the ECB aren't going to sanction Yorkshire perhaps they can fuck them up by taking their only two in form batsmen for the rest of the season at least
A token gesture to be seen to be doing something perhapsThey are getting sanctioned like
You would have Vince in who has failed on two different goes what message would that send to young batsmanBrooks looking great
nobody is mentioning Malan, but has been quality, you have to remember his personal circumstances when he faded away in the Ashes, he has to be in with a shout
Im more convinced than ever that Pope and Lawrence need to be nowhere near the side for a few years
Theyve had so many chances, what sort of message does it send to the young batsman scoring loads of runs if they just get picked again
A token gesture to be seen to be doing something perhaps
On topic I do agree with you on Brook, or Bohannon or even that Compton lad at Kent should get a look in ahead of the same old faces who have failed time and again to back up their obvious talent in the Test arena. I'd be disappointed if any of Vince, Pope, Lawrence or Malan were seen yet again come JuneYou know my feelings mate, banning cricket just punished the blameless fans of Yorkshire, but best not get into it again

Try others like failure VinceI don’t agree of Vince n malan
But I do agree on Lawrence and pope who are a massive reason on the batting collapses over the last 2 years
There’s some absolute talent in England like, I’m not having it that there’s not, maybe openers but middle order players? Loads. Pope n Lawrence are good players but I don’t think their techniques are suited to international cricket
It’s time to try some others
First time for years we (Glos) have got maximum batting points.Into the last hour at Bristol on the 3rd day and 984 runs have been scored for 12 wickets down.
Jimmy 25 overs for 25 runs
He’s turned into a very defensive bowler. You could almost play him in the ‘spinner’s role’ now.
