I'm not necessarily in any hurry for it, but its the silence and having no idea what's happening.

Would rather those who need it more get sorted but I guess the council won't k ow who needs it and who doesn't.

Yeah 100%, my Mrs has heard of a few folks starting to get them (Hebburn) so hopefully they're on their way
 
Just rang them (sunderland) to query and tbf nee further forward and it seems the line to take is "keep checking."

I asked if there was a way to check whether it hadnt been paid yet due to sheer volume, or if there was for example a validation error and they said no!

When i asked "how long do you give it....there must be a cut off?" the lass actually said "September!" :eek::lol:

so i guess just keep checking, and hope
 
I think someone on here mentioned that with Sunderland, they rang and it was the Mrs name spelt wrong or an account digit wrong (or something). If so, how did you even get them to look into it? When I've rang they won't even entertain the possibility and as I said the other day, said "give it till September!!"
