Confirmed hull sign Huddleston

Maybe we were in for him, but made an assessment based on his fitness history and how much we valued his signature. Perhaps Hull were willing to take a bigger risk than us on this one - arguably their need to do so is greater than ours. Sometimes a smaller club beats a bigger club to a signature simply because they want him more or are willing to take a bigger risk, irrespective of pulling power. Of course, he might never have actually been a serious target at all; perhaps we just made an enquiry to see what they wanted for him.

We will have other targets.

Who on earth was Di Canio on about then?

Seriously worried about our central midfield this season, it's just as weak as last season

Looks like we're in for a timely surprise!

I think he's a decent player, but can be immobile and is definitely an injury risk,I'm not disappointed and at least it puts an end to the endless speculation about him on here.

If we think the deal for huddlestone was too expensive how in the fuck will we sign milner

Just because one costs more than the other is irrelevant. Hudders at 5+ million is a gamble. I would imagine his wages are pretty similar to that of Milner
