I might be a lone voice in the wilderness here but I'm disappointed. Think Di Canio had identified Huddlestone as an ideal player to fit the system he wants to play and for whatever reason we have missed out.
I'm hoping its because another player as suitable has become available but fear its a financial decision based on the players fitness history.

Get a grip man. I'm not convinced that we were in for Insigne or Huddlestone with any conviction, we may have enquired. Peruzzi we chose not to go for after medical advice and Orban chose to go elsewhere. Shit happens, it's hardly the end of the world. The club are looking to completely overhaul the playing staff, that means bringing in a lot of players, we were never going to be able to get all of our targets (genuine or papertalk!)

He isnt shite but I am relieved. He is better than what he have but there are too many question marks over him for me. Our signings this summer have question marks all over them adding another maybe is not what we need. We need someone who we know will be a good player to play next to Cabral who we hope will be one.
