Similarly our local Butcher as a kid, the legendary Michael Dearlove. Lets’s just say wasn‘t the most handsome chap and always looked like he combed his hair with a steak.

Lady comes in, “Michael, have you got a pigs head?”
”Nah, I always come my hair this way.”



One of my favourite laughs as a young lad was “borrowing” one of those Orange flashing Road lights and painting it blue.
My Mate in his Marina and me holding this blue flashing light out of the Sun roof.
We pulled Michael Dearlove over one night driving out the village. “You little bastards.”
I still laugh at that today.
