Civil Service Behaviours

Have you been knocked back for jobs marra that you seem unfair? It's the impression I get that's all.
Haha not at all, at HEO grade now and have no intention of moving any higher, however I know a fair few people who have got promotions that can barely do the current job they were in.

Perhaps those people are doing specialist roles they are not good at but as they get promoted they become managers and generalists and can be very good in that role.

Dunno if it happens in CS but it can happen in Private Sector.

Fair play. That's not always unusual tbf. Some people can be great managers whilst not being owt flash at the gig being done by those they manage.

That'll be the shirkers then. Can't say I blame them mind, but the majority of any office won't have health conditions that will stop them going to work.

These were not people who’s health condition stopped them coming into work, they had been for years and years, these people were told by the government if there had certain health conditions when COVID first hit that they had no choice and could not come into work, that’s the key point

We had to tell people who wanted to come into work they couldn’t there did not have a choice, them people were not shirkers like,

There were told they had to go home and wait for the IT kit to be delivered so they could from work from home.

Some may have worse health conditions then others and played on it more, others more genuine you can’t put them all in the same bracket.

Agree, there will be some that play the system but not many , wfh is not a skive , gaffers can monitor your work and the shirkers , if any, will be well known and monitored closely
