Chris Rigg

Aye but will hughes at that age was the next big thing.

Obliviously it didn’t turn out as everybody expected but massive things were expected of him

That’s the point he’s trying to make but everybody seems to be ignoring him

Exactly this, the similarities between them at the same age.

People keep saying he hasn’t achieved much since then, but there’s nothing to confirm Rigg will.

FYI I do think Rigg will eclipse Hughes for the record, but I’m just glad there’s some sense, and people can see Hughes is a very fair comparison to make.

What do you want me to admit, I’ve asked you a couple of times now, I’ll admit it if you tell me where I was wrong.

Hughes played 35 games, 33 of them starts, and an injury ended his season.

What exactly have I got wrong, I’m happy to admit when I’m wrong if you check my posting history.

Rigg is 17 years and 3 months old (nearly). You said Hughes had done more by that age. In reality, Hughes had played hardly any football by that age.

You were wrong, admit it.

Easy to get carried away when you watch him but I hope he's able to keep his feet on the ground and just keep developing. He's come on a lot over the last few months I think. You can see he's ready now.
I think he's possibly the most technically gifted player we've produced so it's exciting. If we don't go up this season I fear we may lose him in the summer.

Gonna be hard for him to keep his feet on the ground when sections of his fans think he’s the next Messi like 😂😂😂😂

Bellingham moved to Dortmund at 17. Whats to say Rigg wont be doing the same at a Man City etc?

Because he’d have to go back in time to be at the same stage as Bellingham maybe.

Bellingham moved to Dortmund in July 2023, so unless Rigg finds a way to defy the laws of physics, there’s no way he can do what Jude did?

July 2020 you mean. He’d just turned 17 and already played 41 games for Birmingham, of which 32 were starts.

Rigg is a full year behind Jude, but looks like he’s about 6 months or so ahead of Jobe.

He's a once in a generation player , Rooney, Gascoigne, et al
Let's just enjoy him in our strip , the lad always wanted to play for us
But with every game he expans his game knowledge
Imagine him, Foden , Jude , maybe Jobe in England team , and remember it was a little team from county Durham where he honed his skill

He's that good it would not surprise me if he did...
