Chris Mepham

Was against signing him at the start of the window but if the option was between starting him or Seelt against West Ham... Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that.
At times last year he was out best CB..we all seem sure ballard is going to be first choice this year. Id happily grab mepham but we need someone who can confidently step in as 1st choice. The hope seems to be this bologna lad decides he doesn't want to stay and wants to join the ambitious project - although it would still likely drag on until they've signed a replacement

Mephams comments before the playoffs semi first leg were very unprofessional and reeked of someone trying to throw the team under the boss cos he'd been dropped

He can get fucked for me

Personally I'd love him back. I think he's great for the squad and he's played in the premier so suggestions he isn't good enough are unfounded.
Because he has played there previously, doesn't make a suggestion that he's not good enough to do it again unfounded ... for what it's worth (nowt), I don't think he's good enough.

Mepham looked especially good last season when he got a start and some people went over the top in their praise. He wouldn't have had a start if Alese hadn't got injured as he was excellent next to O'Nien.

As the season went on you could see why he wasn't quite what Bournemouth needed, pace, as is the case with Ballard is his achilles heal, though he made some clumsy challenges that VAR would have caught him for and for a lifelong centre half could be caught way out of position

I thought a replacement for him would have been a top prioritty
