Chelsea home 24/05/26 ticket compendium

I mean which ******* idiot decided to have no queue system in place for the last home game against Chelsea, when the queue system has prevented the website from crashing all season.

I'm still seething even though i eventually got sorted out.

They won't care because they know at some point all tickets will be sold anyway but at least do the basics.
Completely agree.
I even doubt it was a conscious decision to not have a queue, they probably missed switching in on.

Is this totally sold out? Nephew flying over from Belfast for the game but saying he was unable to get a ticket even though he met the criteria!!

I don't think there's any planning or sense allowed in the ticket office.

The staff must be mindless zombies and not question any of the ridiculous situations they see going on.

It’s the fact me and the two I was buying for are eligible that’s worse. I knew you needed history and knew I had that but could only buy one ticket until that was corrected. My season ticket holding mate didn’t even have it as an option to purchase. It’s a total cock up.

how did you know?

i checked this morning as i needed one for my cousin, so he set up a brand new account last night in preparation, and even this morning when i checked it didn't say anything about needing purchase history

The sales page with the stadium map is still available, so assuming he can see that, keep checking and odd ones might pop up.

If he can't see that, it implies he either isn't logged onto the ticketing site or he doesn't meet the criteria.

It said on the website but it said you could buy 9 tickets if you met the criteria which was basically a history of at least one ticket last season and one this season before the Spurs game.

Accounts have to be set up at least a week in advance I think.

i'm pretty sure it didn't say that when i checked this morning like

Had 3 in the Premier Concourse but ended up buying a single in the South Stand after getting sick of trying to assign the Concourse tickets to people who qualified. Managed to get the other two in the NWU after they fixed the problem. 🙄

It may not have but I double checked after reading it before tickets went on sale because the ticket history for me was wrong before and didn’t have last season on it but does now, albeit only one game from last season despite me attending several.

Could be wrong but it feels like they leave it till the last minute.

Its been known as ticketing Tuesday all season so make sure the systems are ready on Monday at latest.

Maybe dealing with season tickets and Chelsea tickets has completely blown their minds.

Past experience and also for a change the club put an update news article about the buying criteria on the club website 2 or 3 hours before the sale started.

Im assuming you do know that if you buy 9 tickets each ticket has to be allocated to a different name and each name has to meet the buying criteria for that particular game ?
ah right , it was about 6am that i checked
Aye it was after that mate, think it was around 7-8 am
On the Email confirmation it says KO at 15:00

Is it not at 16:00 ?
Haway man you can't expect them to get everything correct 🤣🤣

Yeah, knew about the people you assign to having to meet criteria, I’ve assigned to them several times previously without issue and they have all been to several games this season. I was initially only allowed a maximum of one ticket so had to buy one then go back on when they corrected the system by which time was only singles.
