Chelsea home 24/05/26 ticket compendium

I mean which ******* idiot decided to have no queue system in place for the last home game against Chelsea, when the queue system has prevented the website from crashing all season.

I'm still seething even though i eventually got sorted out.

They won't care because they know at some point all tickets will be sold anyway but at least do the basics.
No queue, website crashed, and restrictions incorrectly applied meaning loads won't have been able to buy the amount of tickets they should've been able to

A rather frustrating hour and a bit all told

Wanted two with my mate. Wouldn't let me. Ended up with two separate singles.

What a carry on.
Pairs are still popping up it you go in and out of block. Just got a pair together in P5 so I can take my son and I was easily able to allocate it to his account because he is listed as a relationship with me already in the ticketing system.

It all worked very easy I thought, although I do qualify for points to buy and I have already set up an extensive friends and family accounts already linked with me, so buying a child and allocating it to my son to complete purchase was very simple. Whole process took 5 mins or so of looking, missed out on some pairs as others completed selection before me, but after selecting a few times I completed it all in 5 mins.

Maybe I just got lucky, but I thought it worked well. If people you want to buy a ticket for and allocate to, do not already have a registered account with the club and are not already then linked to your account then I guess it's a terrible lengthy ballache?

Absolute joke. Had tickets in my basket for all my family (all with purchase history from this season), didn't let me buy them and then by the time they sorted it out, there was only singles and a few doubles. Clearly they're either incompetent or don't give a shit, either of which is really not good.

our ticket office needs stripped back and started again again
Need to sack the gaffa and bring in new bodies
Total revamp needed not fit for purpose.

Had to buy 3 adult tickets to get the under 14 to work.

Yep and some people have bought singles so will be scattered about because of the balls up.

I knew it was going to be carnage when no queue system was in place just before 10.

Buzzing I somehow got a couple of tickets together but that was the worst it has been all season by far.

This has driven me insane. Got two friends over from Florida that weekend for a wedding and they're desperate to come to the Chelsea game. I've had a ST for 20+ years but can't buy a single ticket? Shite state of affairs.

Georgi boy Rusev working has magic yet again 🤡

he's some boy like

i mean, why wouldn't you make it public that there was a purchase history requirement for members to buy tickets? the obvious answer is to keep it a secret, and have 1000s of people trying to access the website at the same time, only to find out after multiple failed attempts that they never qualified for a ticket in the first place.

making that information public would have been the actions of a total loser

he did EXACTLY the same for the man united tickets the other week. my dads mate took an hour off work to make sure he was all set up to get him and his son tickets, and couldn't work out why the system was blocking him. he was absolutely raging, he rang me about 1130 asking if i had any idea and i told him you needed purchase history, and he just went 'why didn't they just say that then? '

same scenario played out across countless amounts of fans for loads of games this season (home and away) and Mr Rusev couldn't give two fucks. totally wasting peoples time and enraging people for no reason

surely it would be better to tell people in advance that there is a purchase history requirement, if nowt else it would reduce the amount of traffic on the website

They would need their own accounts to go to any game this season.

Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Spurs, Man U and Chelsea. Have all had restrictions put in place where you had to have purchase history on that account to get a ticket.

You didn't get lucky mate the system sorted the problem out but the first half hour nobody could asign tickets to anyone who had a linked account.

Was surprised no queue system in place appeared before 10am

Selected seat payment details in then the Seat geek under maintenance appeared however got the confirmation email just as it crashed

It’s the fact me and the two I was buying for are eligible that’s worse. I knew you needed history and knew I had that but could only buy one ticket until that was corrected. My season ticket holding mate didn’t even have it as an option to purchase. It’s a total cock up.
