Chelsea after maja

Had a blazing row with some nugget down blackpool who was adamant Maja wasnt very good as all he does 'is score goals'

He was and is still very raw but given the correct coaching he will mature into a top class player. Lampard and the chelsea setup would seem a good fit for him although he'll inevitably end up out on loan.

Karlan Grant is a much better player and would be cheaper, of Maja's 5 goals this season, 3 were in one game.

Grant has shown he can score goals in the Championship and the Premier League, even in a very very bad team, brings more physicality and power than Maja, and scores more different types of goals.
Maja's not the complete player by any means. Time will tell whether he'll become a regular PL player.

However, the lad is a natural goal scorer. That is very, very rare.

Compare him with whoever you like using whatever criteria you like but I doubt you'll find any in lower leagues that has his natural talent.

As many say on this board "he does nowt but score goals"

Needs to be playing regularly now, would he get that at Chelsea?....probably not.

Would a lower league side in the league be a good fit for him?....its a risk at say 10 million.

If his club are happy to keep him for another season and he continues to progress then that would be the sensible thing for him to do (and we could get more money from the sell on clause).

They’d loan him out

He's got great potential but he should stay where he is for at least another season or two where he's starting games in one of the top leagues in Europe. A move to Chelsea would hinder his development, and I suspect he'd only end up out on loan at a similar club to Bordeaux anyway.

Just wondering where @PompeyFan657 was a few months ago when they were sitting in lower-mid table and we were a win away from the automatic promotion places? He wasn’t telling us our expectations were too high or that our ex-striker is worse than Karlan Grant then was he?
