People saying they weren’t going back if he signed :oops:

I stand by that statement. I wouldn’t have.

I also said I fully expected our owners and manager not to go down that avenue so I’m very pleased they seemingly aren’t as I like getting to the match when I can.

Did he break in?

No, he did admit to lying to the hotel receptionist to get the key to the room though. And also admitted to not speaking to the young lass before, during or after sex.

After a prolonged appeal, where evidence of the lasses previous sexual history was disclosed following the employment of private investigators into her past, the verdict was overturned. Not ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ therefore convinction quashed.

Maybe it wasn’t beyond reasonable doubt for a jury to convict him (well not for a second time anyway) but there’s enough doubt about his character to make me know that I’d never want him playing in the red and white of Sunderland. Thankfully it doesn’t look like he will be.

But I would like one and I think other people would like you to explain

See above then.

Were not after him so you can all relax. Whoever leaked the transfer gossip certainly got a reaction, or if a ploy by the club to gauge the fans reaction, then its bloody good one!

Do you think we need to employ a moral compass to players sexual behaviour before we sign them? What breaks the deal for you in terms of lacking character?

Can you explain what legal things our players cannot have done in their private lives before they are allowed to pull on the red and white stripes?

Heard one or two of the squad have shagged lasses, said they will text them later then deleted and blocked their numbers. Horrible fuckers, should never be allowed to play football again.

Well if people are willing to pile into a debate they should at least have a slight clue about some of the details.

He was sentenced to 5 and a half years, I wasnt aware of exactly how early he was released......He still spent over 2 years of his life in jail when he was innocent.
