He also needs to learn that if you come in and play to the gallery about us being ‘the biggest club to ever have played in this division’ and being bigger than the Mags etc then you have to deal with questions that emerge when we don’t get out of said division. And dealing with those questions by responding that we are no bigger than Charlton because they sold a few more thousand tickets for a fixture on their doorstep isn’t particularly the best way, sounds hypocritical and is unnecessarily provocative.

He didn’t. But for some reason some people have taken it that way and agreed with it. That’s far dafter than the people who have taken it that way and disagreed with it.

He talks some rubbish in the interview and completely unnecessarily brought our support both in terms of numbers and volume into the discussion to an unrelated point that was being made.

The atmosphere issue is being blown totally out of proportion, it was not great from Charlton at all.

They made noise when they scored and the last 10 minutes when we were being pinned back.

It's hard to create a rocking atmosphere when your own team won't pass the half way line

The interviewer made absolutely no comment on Charlton Athletic whatsoever.

He never mentioned them once. Either comparing us to them on or off the park. You’ve completely made that up :lol:

Difficult to create a decent atmosphere when you watch your team consistently fail to hold onto a 1-0 lead throughout the second half of the season, as well as watching us barely press the opposition for the ball when it's in our own half.

Playing negative football doesn't help us at all.

No-one draws a salary from Madrox - it's purely an investment vehicle. Long-term is will probably be a dormant company (that is, owning the shares but conducting no active business. If he got anything from Sunderland or SAFC, it would be buried in the note on director's pay and there's no requirement in private companies to disclose individual director's pay. If Dragon PR were reimbursed for his time, that would need to be shown as a related party transaction; there's no such disclosure in any of the accounts.

Saying the attendance at Wembley is indicative of charlton being as big a club is a deflection tactic..look at the seasons attendances..if we were playing the final down the road at Borough on a bank holiday weekend who would have the greater allocation?
To apportion any blame onto fans for being quiet is frankly bollocks.
Not getting promoted has nothing to do with the fan base.He needs to be careful not to lose those he has spent the season encouraging.

He's done a lot of good man.
Folk twist at anything.
Folk on here were gannin radge at him for setting the 40k boxing day target, that no one thought we'd reach and it would be embarrassing.
He helped us get over 46k there, which were all proud of.
Some haters just want to hate.
He's been very good for us
