Warwickshire have declared: 698-3. The bowling figures can't be shown til after the watershed.😀

The Australian lassie on YouTube comms has been excellent value

Mel Farrell isn’t it?? She is very good to listen to, she must have an ongoing gig with Warwickshire because she was on last week. I was wondering what the connection is with them? I know in the Aussie summer she covers the internationals.
First time ever numbers 1, 2 and 3 all made 175+

At this point though, I’m thinking it’s about as valuable as Brian Lara’s 501 (and Sam Northeast’s knock last week). Flat decks and kookaburra balls will kill county cricket.

AND a wider point, it’s high time teams were punished with sever points deductions for producing pitches like that one at Lord’s last week. Don’t get me started on this boundary either.

Not a bad day for Durham, we'll be the happier of the teams given the forecast for Monday.

I hope Birmingham floods overnight on Monday, get the lads back home a day early to prepare for Kidderminster.

English spinners being picked by every side and being used lots so far. One taking a 10fer for Derbyshire

Potential England hopefuls racking up runs galore.

Think Rob Key would argue it's gone quite well compared to what normally happens in April.

Happier?
That's looking on the bright side so hard you're gonna need shades. :p

I don't think we've done too badly. We could have easily crumbled having to face almost 700 but we've got stuck in.

Forecast on Monday will be well known to both teams & taking in the hopeful rain on Monday, I think Durham will be more satisfied knowing that Warwickshire may need 17 wickets tomorrow.

We'll see how it goes

Scoreboard pressure. All comes back to the moronic decision to bowl first.

Yep scoreboard pressure does it

It’s a bad decision, but it happens.

Worth a try yep. Why not?

Definitely worth a try. We shall see what benefits it may be bring down the line.

Ironically the Shield in Australia in the the season just gone was more like early season championship cricket of previous years. With a lot of result green top pitches.

Where normally it's the opposite with batsman on top on flat ones.

With a very old Aussie test side, could be interesting to see how that might effect their next lot of players. If the Shield doesn't prepare them for Aussie test wickets.

I love your positive spin on it but the fact is we have been absolutely outplayed for two whole days so far

On the comms last week she said she was something of an adopted Brummie so guessing she lives there for some reason.
