Aye but why is Campbell not fronting up explaining what was presumably his decision to bowl.?You must be logged on to see external links
I'm not at all concerned. Daft ball and piss poor short boundaries. Relax folks
Looking at some of the scorecards looks like the slow/spin bowlers have had more success than the traditional county trundler with the kookaburra for April.
There might be some spinners around the counties who disagree. It’s the first day of the season (for us), I’m with you, it’s a bad day at the office but it’s a slow pitch with tiny boundaries and a stupid kookaburra ball experiment.
Some knacker on a county cricket Facebook group I’m on is getting stuck into our ‘so called best attack in the country’ and calling Boland the worst overseas signing of the summer. He’s bowled 13 overs
It’s a f*cking stupid idea to use it in April. Absolutely braindead thinking from the administrators - which we’ve come to expect.

Personally i think they should use the Dukes but i don't see why it should have such a prominent seam especially in April.
Yeah thats fair enough but its nice to see spinners bowling and taking wickets in April. It gets boring sitting watching 1st class cricket when it's just a diet of the same style of bowling which in this country is right arm meduim pace. The idea of using the Kookaburra is to better prepare our bowlers for Aussie conditions. So there’s no point using it in April when it’s wet and cloudy.
Save it for July and August.
Can't win from hereCould only follow the game today on BBC Sport App. Only got one update for the 1 wicket we took! Obviously we got put to the sword today. But it's very early days. I think as Warwickshire have bagged all the batting bonus points they should have declared before close of play and showed some intent. Possibly a nailed on draw short boundary, placid track etc? But as Cambo likes to say: How are we going to win from here? Game on. Mebbes.
