True but had we got fatty Cosgrove out we'd have still been in with a chance in the last game.

After the Gloucs game back in May if anyone had suggested that we'd go into the penultimate game with a distinct chance of promotion I would have reckoned they were pissed.
I, like many on here, have thought if only we could have got Fatty Cosgrove out etc but in reality, if you lose your first four games in a season consisting of only fourteen matches then its going to take nothing short of a miracle to get into the promotion places.
Sure this game has been disappointing and its had elements of the old 'Its the hope I cant stand' etc but I can see light at the end of the tunnel for the first time since 2016...and that's coming from one of life's pessimists!
