CC :: Middlesex v Durham

Game is fairly evenly poised, a lot has to go wrong for us from here to lose this game and at this moment we’re favourites to win. Especially with the old ‘add two wickets’ logic.

Hopefully we get a few early scalps, the lads have a pretty big incentive to bowl Middlesex out by around an hour after lunch!

Sounds perfect all out about 2.45 then watch the match hopefully no extra time then a couple of hours of Durham attacking with the bat and setting up an overnight declaration.

I asked that on here yesterday when Middx where farting it out at 68/72 mph but Carse was being clocked at 84/86 mph which is fairly accurate in a first class match.

Carse can crank it up to 90. so could still be 5mph under TBF. Interesting, as you rarely see speed guns at County matches.

If we clonk this lad on the lid again does he have to be subbed like Trevaskis vs Notts?

Yeah but that's the odd delivery in the one day game. But I have noticed watching the streams that have a speed gun how many opening bowlers are around the 70mph. Durhams attack looks a different level to Middx.
