CC : Hampshire v Durham

Wouldn't have got picked if they didn't think he was good enough. He'd been talked about in relation to an England call-up since 2011.

I'm surprised you think an occasional off-spinner with 86 wickets is a better wicket taking option than a leggy with 229.
He'd bowled 9 overs for 15.

They didn't know what they were doing. He was being talked up so they picked him. The problem was he was being talked up because of his batting while his bowling was still sub par and has only improved a little. He's nowhere near the quality of Parky.

Why is Carse playing aggressively? Got himself out now. We may have avoided the fo but if we throw it away like that there is a chance we can lose.

This Hampshire commentating team are annoying *****. Practically blaming Durham for the way the match is unfolding. Yeah the Durham groundstaff prepared the pitch, Durham batted first and set the tone of the match scoring at 3.2. Durham are not the villans here

You’re right, that “the best thing for the game would be for Durham to be all out now” comment when we were 158 behind was a joke.

Fact is, they batted so slow in the first innings that they banked on making us follow on. By not achieving that they’ve killed the game.

So no Kevin, the best thing for the game would’ve been for your boys to have either scored quicker, or declared earlier.

Who’s the Saffer ponce with the effeminate voice? I’ve muted the commentary.

Probably felt it was worth having a dart with 4 wickets left and the follow on avoided. I’m not sure Hampfrica can get any sort of lead that they’d feel confident about declaring on from here irrespective of how many we make.

They really love us, don’t they 😂

Think he's from Zimbabwe, he mentioned about watching a lot of his cricket at Harare or something.
The remarkable thing about this innings is that all wickets that have fallen so far are to a spinner and the one that wasn't was a run out. That says something about the pitch imho, and it also says something about our seamers. ie it confirmed that they didn't have much to work with pitchwise.
