Hope so but ridiculous to judge someone so early
Nah. You can see he's quality just by looking at the way he goes about it. You don't need to take a lot of time to see that.

So he is a good player and from the first he looked confident. He'll score runs and I think this is one of those occasions when a move is good for the player and good for the club he moves to.

I'm not disputing the fact he's a good player, it's just way too early to judge whether he'll be a good signing for Durham. What happens if he gets 10 ducks in his next 10 innings? Sometimes good players don't end up working out well.

For the record I believe he'll do well for Durham, but too early to judge him yet

aye, the plunkett scenarion but in reverse.

Been out all day and been to football and just seen the score
Well done Durham cracking first truncated day gan on Mr Lees tomorrow
Cracking scores in both footy and cricket today for the north east

all the bits that count anyhow marra

Hope Lees joins his former team mate Rhodes and gets his ton (both got more runs together than the whole Yorkshite batting line up) Get him out of the poisonous and divided atmosphere of the Yorkshite dressing room, led by the "coach", and he's already thriving.

That was mentioned in the T20 commentary last week.

Trouble at mill?

Definitely. No one on the outside can really say what it is but there can be no doubt that there are problems and it has to stem from the "coach". This season has been utterly chaotic from the departure of a number of key and experienced players, four different captains, so far and some very poor performances and unhappy, angry or disinterested looking players.

Gale strikes me as a bit of a Wanker with a chip on his shoulder. I would not enjoy playing under him. He speaks in cliches and treats a very knowledgeable fan base like fools. Blows his own trumpet after the odd win here and there but goes silent when it all goes to shit again, like at the end of the T20 campaign (Dizzy always offered the supporters an explanation and apology and vowed to put things right, and he usually did)

Back to on field problems, the batting is getting worse (just like England) and the "coaching staff" have done nothing to address this in two years. The charge list on Gale is endless. He just has to go. Moxon too. No idea what he even does or how he justifies his wages

Thanks for this. Had no idea really but that sounds worrying for the Yorkshire fans

The yorkie forum is full of it and is just as divided between Gale in and out. The Twitter feed makes for lively reading every time a wicket falls as well
No way am I going into that minefield.

Enough of that on here
