CC : Essex v Durham

Emmerson gets carried away, tries to emulate TMS with his witterings……..he has a long way to go.
He gets totally unnecessary grief on here and ive never got why. If people talk just about cricket its boring as owt. If they talk about anything but cricket irs wittering on. TMS is largely excellent but there's plenty of dullards on there anarl.

Bat for 50 scoring at around 4 an over, have an hour tonight to force a breakthrough

Target 450 or so.

I agree with the target, but there’s no reason why we can’t do it at 5 an over, thus getting there 10 overs quicker than in your scenario.

I reckon about 16-20 overs at them tonight would be a decent amount of time.

He should be exempt from criticism for all he’s done for us over the years. He’s been an invaluable source of information and updates for years and let’s face it, he is the voice of all of our successes.

Long live Marty ✊

I enjoy the crack he has with some of the other BBC comms who he obviously has got to know well over the years. He also seems to have a great memory and has done an awful lot from some of his stories

Seems to be plenty spin on this pitch too, would expect to see Ackermann have a role to play too
