I take it you haven't listened to TMS in recent years.Marty is far more interesting and informative than any of them imo. It's unreasonable to expect riveting on topic conversation for 6-7 hours.

Well I agree regarding the current TMS team, I was suggesting he was trying to emulate the halcyon days of Brian Johnston, Henry Blofeld, Christopher Martin-Jenkins et al, a high bar that he’ll never reach.

Exactly. There’s been three of them on today from what I’ve heard and only Marty actually knows what he’s doing - on TMS they’ll do what, 3 x 30 minute spells a day?
