CC : Durham vs Sussex

Leicestershire have won by 8 wickets and move to 130 points.

So Durham can't win the title this week as they can still pick up 202.

Ackermann made 93* so good in the long run for Durham anyway if he's in the runs.

Glamorgan need 110 with 3 wickets left to beat Worcs. Billy Root still in 67 from 67, Harris and Van Gugten both decent tailenders too.

Glamorgan win would mean neither could overtake Durham, so fingers crossed Glamorgan can get over the line.

Glamorgan lose by 80 runs despite 84* from Root

So Durham cannot win the title until we play Worcs on the 19th September.

Assuming we go on to win this game.

Don't forget that he had never played First Class cricket until he joined us so his runfest this season is quite remarkable
No, I hadn’t forgotten. I find it remarkable that we signed him based on his white ball career, and yet he was hopeless in the t20 blast and has done all his best work for us in the CC
Worcestershire win.
And they’ve won despite losing vdGugton to injury in the first innings

Nice one as that was becoming a frustrating partnership plus it Pujara who has gone so all good.

5 more needed in 3 and a half sessions. Hopefully we wont have to bat again.

Can we claim an extra half hour tonight if we get close?

Just had a good look at the in play table on Cricinfo and am I correct in thinking if we win this game we are promoted? Leicestershire could still beat us to the title but Worcs, Sussex and Glamorgan could not catch us.

7 down now.

Think Worcestershire and Leicestershire could mathematically overhaul us. Obviously not going to happen. Think if we win this we need 9 more points
