Just praising a Durham legend who could have gone elsewhere but stood by the club, rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in trying to help rebuild the club. He was even offering to deliver members books last year to members who were shielding, for me that's above and beyond and shows what a class lad he is.

Along with Benks & Di Venuto, Rushworth one of the best for me and he has time for all members, never shirked criticism either. Genuinely a top class lad, and I am absolutely delighted for him.

Well they did run a mile. Rushy stayed and helped re-build the club and he deserves credit for that.
