CC :: Durham v Nottinghamshire

I appreciate that but I'm unhappy how it's happened. I don't think this was an accident as it was only happening to Trevaskis. All very strange but hopefully Drissel can take his chance. We could have Rain(e) and Drizz(ss)el batting

That’s fair enough mate it’s your view but that’s a different point to the actual rule which allows us to pick like for like

I never said we should continue to play Trev so you've made that up. I've merely said Nottingham in my opinion targetted Trev(see above comments) and he's now out of the game. For me that plan has worked (it was obvious) and we now lose our best spinner.
He might be the best spinner but he's not great yet it's not like we are losing a load of runs or wickets

Of course he was targeting him either they knew before the game or worked it out during this innings Trevaskis struggles with short quick bowling to the body. I watched Harmy do it for about 10 years at the Riverside he had county batsmen terrified in the pavillion. Pattinson is a quality fast bowler.

A player did get killed after a fast bowler targeted him.

What you’re really saying here is that you’d play trev with concussion

Spin the stream back. He isn't lying on the floor with tweety birds round his head. The new physio told him he had to come off and he walked off perfectly unaided, chatting to the physio. Pattinson saw him duck into a bouncer and bowled the exact same delivery again a few overs later, knowing he would do the same. He then bowled the same delivery to Raine. He never checked on Trevaskis after hitting him.

How about if a batsman has to go off, so does the bowler?

That would be a good rule.

Without this rule he would have carried on batting.

He’s got concussion!!!

Can’t seriously be suggesting he bat on :eek:
