CC :: Durham v Nottinghamshire

I wonder if they have designated the opening home matches of the season to be played on the pavilion side of the square because of the state of the stands and the lack of seating on the river side of the ground.
I heard from a reliable source that the seats won't be going into the Trapdoor until June. If that's the case I don't know why they can't remove that Durham Uni thing currently occupying 25% of the Co Durham Lower seats and put it in the empty Trapdoor.

More likely the other way round. No point putting the seats in when games are mostly being played at pavilion side.

Or they want it in use for as little of the season as possible.it is known as the trapdoor sttand got s reason.
Sounds about right, the 1st T20 game is June 1st
Or if your cynical like me the start of the season!

No Broad until next week according to media

Good news for us if true, source?

Edit - found one, if you can call it ‘credible’ ;)

“Broad, 35, is understood to be targeting fixtures at grounds where he would feature for England in the event of a recall to the Test side - having been left out for the tour of West Indies - so he will sit out Nottinghamshire's visit to Chester-le-Street this week and aim to play two home games at Trent Bridge along with one at Lord's.”

If I was a Notts member I’d be furious like…
