I went at 6.15 and had no sooner walked out of the Trapdoor when I heard the 7th wicket go down then got home and found out they were all out.I'll go home earlier more often ha.

We were both shattered and hayfever was very annoying, it's sometimes not comfortable enough. Our heads never dropped mind, delighted to see we have them for below 400 as conditions were prime for batting. Very much game in. Well done to Durham but also special mention to Steve Borthwick, his captaincy today was good. Young Stanley had a tough time today and Borthwick did everything to keep the lad positive with many words of encouragement... I like to see that and I highlighted many times last year who that was missing.... It clearly shows how together this team is. I think we've done well todayI went at 6.15 and had no sooner walked out of the Trapdoor when I heard the 7th wicket go down then got home and found out they were all out.![]()
Could be an entertaining day tomorrow if Durham bat with the intent they have shown this season. Ideal opportunity for a couple of batsmen to make big hundreds.
Well batted Carlson today he is good to watch even if its sgainst Durham.
Only averaging 32He’s a good player him, one of the better ones I’ve seen on the circuit, not sure what his stats say but he looks class
There pretty goid against Durham in all forms of the game. He’s a good player him, one of the better ones I’ve seen on the circuit, not sure what his stats say but he looks class
Only averaging 32
His batting average of 32.50 is perfectly fine. He's a very useful cricketer who is still at an age where he'll continue to develop albeit he's very experienced already. He has a lot to his game. Not too fussed, think he’s a good player
Young STAN’s head visibly dropped after his unfortunate dropping of a dolly, but it was good to see the other seasoned pros rallying around him and encouraging etc.Tough day today but we came back well in the end. Top marks for the lads sticking at it. A torrid day for Young Stanley as the learning curve went up in a vertical direction. If he is to progress he will have to be capable of putting days like today behind him and improving.
See how he goes but the support he got off the senior players today was excellent to see. All a learning curve for the lad.It would be nice to see Mcallindon get a few runs tomorrow morning s a confidence booster.
Miles lost his place to Rushy at Warks, funny how things work out.
I reckon that's the first day this red ball season that we've been second best but even then the lads managed to pull things around as I had visions of Glamorgan comfortably hitting 500+.
A tough day for young Stan but all part of the learning process. Thought Miles bowled very tidily and De Leede bowled better than his figures suggest. Carlson got his obligatory ton against us although we all know he should have gone on 67.
Good to be back in The Trapdoor although those seats take some getting used to after all that time.
Looking forward to tomorrow a lot more than I was at 6pm mind.
