Outstanding response in the end, another tremendous day of red ball cricket from a Durham perspective.

I noted at lunch it appeared that we were crumbling under that scoreboard pressure, but Bedingham and Robinson (and then Clark thereafter) completely shut me up by going through two whole sessions with just the one fortuitous - from a Glamorgan point of view, excellent glove work though - wicket falling. An absolute pleasure to watch.

Be nice to really grind their bowlers into the dirt tomorrow, we have to get that lead to treble figures in the morning session tomorrow and come out after Lunch with more power to add.
 
At the start of play I was beginning to wonder if the wheels were starting to come off our season. Was hoping we could just about bat the day out and get somewhere close to their score. To be in the lead with 5 wickets in hand at the end of play is a fantastic effort. Hopefully we can kick on and set up a win from here.

A great day’s cricket, sat through every ball, used about a gallon and a half of factor 50.

I actually thought we played pretty well all day bar Jones who just looked out of form

Few cheap dismissals but it happens

It’s a mediocre attack but Robinson and Beds showed their class

Agree aye only way we can win is a pretty big lead and then put the pressure on them

Same, factor 30 here though. Off home to assess the damage!
 
Yet again this rejuvenated Durham side have stepped up to the mark when required in the Championship. Yesterday evening I foolishly doubted them with the visitors strolling along at 340- 4 but that late flurry of wickets hauled us back into contention. Then at lunch with four wickets down we were in trouble again but unlike last season there was no capitulation just two superb centuries from Bedingham and Robinson with hopefully a third to follow from Clark tomorrow.

Yeah it's a mediocre Glamorgan attack with only Van der Gughten looking dangerous but that's their problem not ours. Let's hope for more of the same tomorrow.

Great weather. Great company and Great cricket - what more could anyone ask for?:D
