Awful by Lees not even schoolboy stuff and the worst thing with him it’s no surprise either.

So obvious what they where going for has to be one of the least threatening attacks I have ever seen.
 
Lees has been doing it all season 4 times in his last 5 innings he had made at least 38 and never gone past 62.

He’s developing a terrible habit of getting in and never going on there was a 100 there for the taking on that surface against this attack.

That dismissal is poor and you can’t dress it up any other way. He just switches off mentally at times.

Been the same with Bedingham they are not getting the runs their talent and technique should be scoring in division 2 cricket,

Gets bowled through the gate from balls angled in towards off stump a lot*.

Just like Borthwick seems to chip to mid-wicket a disproportionate amount of times*.

I said today was a big day given the scoreboard pressure and unfortunately it seems we’ve crumbled under it. 3 completely avoidable dismissals means it’s going to be very hard work after lunch just to avoid a deficit of three figures.

On a positive note, the weather is glorious.

*Based on nothing other than a gut feel.
