CC :: Derbyshire v Durham

Just caught up with todays play after cricket force, batting looking very shaky like Bancroft will have to score heavily i would imagine!
 
Down Derby for today and most of tomorrow’s play. When Durham batted it looked easy to stay in, but difficult to pierce the field. Trevaskis and Burnham looked like they could turn the game around but Burnham nicked one, he should have left, and Trevaskis soon followed.

Was impressed with Burnham. He applied himself and batted for over 90 mins for 31 runs. When I’ve seen him bat before it’s normally for around 3 overs and he hits 5 superb cover drives to the boundary and then gets himself out. This lad definitely has the talent it’s just a question of whether he is prepared to graft hard.

When Durham were fielding today there was a definite buzz out there, confidence even. Misplaced? Time will tell.
