the big audit firms are a disgrace really , even where i work theres far too friendly a relationship with pwc , they entertain the FD etc , it should all be at arms length and it isnt

A lot of made of tier 1 clients to restrict the big 4 developing relationships outside of what they audit but that misses the point.

Partners in the big 4 are incredibly sales driven. There is a reason the average partner is on over 700k a year and it's as they have to bring in revenue. Clearly they are not going to rock the apple cart with their main corporate accounts

The whole thing stinks from top to bottom. A bunch of corrupt self serving bastards. Might as well sack those regulators for what good they do.
