Cans or bottles ?

Currently tasting a few bottles of San Miguel. Excellent stuff.
Tried a few cans of the same gear last weekend. Finding the bottles Far superior.


Having not drank for over three years or so I'm no expert but bottles seem to be much the better choice.

So what do you prefer cans or bottles ?

Bottles all the way ! Although you can’t beat proper draught.
I had some staropramen bottles in last weekend and also got some draught staropramen delivered from the pub. Drank both in the same night. Crikey, the draught stuff blew the bottles away.
I try and avoid cans at all costs. They just taste funny to me

Depends. Like Heineken in cans. Carl’s berg and Tuborg are nicer in bottles.

in general though, bottles leave a better taste

Bottles are better for taste, but since they come in 275ml or 330ml I find I'm backwards and forwards to the fridge a lot, if you go for the big 600ml bottles they go flat and warm by the time you finish. 440ml or 500ml cans are more of a sweet spot.

Paid a fiver for a single can of stout today. The scratter argument doesn't hold up.

Not really bothered, but I think cans get colder quicker in the fridge
