Who do you play for mate, and are you available? As a championship striker I would be very happy with this.
What ?Was class on Fifa 12. Had him in a silver bpl team on UT and never lost. #handicap #baller
we are in the Championship, of those 259 games you quoted, 177 were Premiership. Whilst it isn't brilliant he has a one in 3.25 games in the Championship, much better than the one in 5.6, derived from your selection. I doubt SAFC reckon he is a £6m player either, but lets believe the SunLast season, yes. 2 goals in 28 appearances at Palace.7 in 50 at Stoke. 37 in 181 at Birmingham. He's not a £6m player for me. We'd end up making a big loss on him I reckon.
It's also a process that takes a while to put in place. Our squad is desperately short so we need a few to bolster numbers. I said earlier, it's very rare for a club to develop a system where they buy youth and shift them on for profit continually. Yes we should aspire to it, but it's a bit of a pipe dream at the minute. It IS disappointing that we're singing aging players on permanent deals and kids on loan but that's just reality biting.
Young players with potential and re-sale value cost an arm and a leg unless you've got a phenomenal recruitment/scouting set up. The last few years are evidence that at this stage we definitely don't. We just sacked the bloke who was supposed to set one up.
We're getting young loans as they're cheap and older players on permanent deals because that's what we can afford.
Doesn’t strike me as the hard worker type Grayson was alluding too.
A goal every 2 games last year. That'll do for me
He'll be class then, gerrin. He's beyond shit
