Broadhead didn't manage to play more than about 1500 minutes in any season, prior to the last two. I think his time at SAFC was typical of his career, to that point.Using broadhead as an example suggests that safc are the defining factor, however correlation is not causality
Everything in preseason has suggested Mayenda is going to be given a chance and whilst Ive also suggested this might be how things turn out, it would be down to Mayenda failing not jobe being first choice ahead of him
Just as an FYI... we conceded 26 goals in our first 23 league games and 26 goals in our last 23. We were solid, defensively, for the whole of last season. We had a better coach in the first half of the season, though.We sacrificed our attacking play in the second half of the season. Keeping procession by knocking it around our back line didn’t concede many but it’s shit to watch & we don’t threaten the opposition either.
