When I was a student I was working for a transport company and one of the owld fellas collapsed.
The boss saw what happened from his office overlooking the loading dock and immediately got on the tannoy: "Grant, get the first aid kit; Tommy, call an ambulance for Neville. And Frank, clock him out..."
A genuinely true story from the sinking of the Titanic;
The ship sunk at 2.14am and White Star Line paid the families of the staff who drowned up to 2.30am with no death benefits or compensation for the loss of life.

People buy into the rhetoric, thinking that others are getting something for nothing or living a life of luxury at their expense. Classic divide and conquer. Truth of it is that the gap between rich and poor grows greater and greater. It is OK though because many of the people needing food banks are also in work, which means everything is hunky dory.
