Is Carrick getting the blame from the fans?

The one to go should be whoever don't thought signing more attackers in January was the answer to your defensive issues.

Well it was Carrick who'd pushed for the club to resign Ryan Giles. That one hasn't worked out great for us.

Our January transfer window is looking like a disaster now but defending has always been an issue for us under Carrick, regardless of the defenders we've had.
 
They need what , 22-24 points from 10 games ? Carrick is streaky mind , he got a 1/4 of his points total in a 5 game run in November ( and a third of his goals ).

I hope they fizzle out as I don’t fancy two bogey teams in there, Cov, WBA and whoever messes up of the top 3 , hopefully Blades.

I will live with that

What’s going on down your place ?
Seems like some of your support earlier in the season thought you ( on paper admittedly) had a better squad than us ?
We’ve had loads of injuries but grind out results and to be fair have surprised myself in a positive way -play offs now look very likely .
The opposite seems to be the case at your club ?

Their squad is absolute shite to be fair. The only one who would possibly get in our side is Doak and he’s not even their player.

I've long thought that Coventry are a bogey team of ours, they'd regularly beat us even when they were shite, but now they are going good, they are due a bad result. I'm confident that we will give them a game and get a result down at their place and then beat them in the playoffs.

We have had lots of injuries. That aside we lost Lath to the States and Doak to injury. Our best striker and most creative player at the same time. Whittaker hasn't been anywhere near good enough and Giles seems half the player that left us.
It's pretty dire at present.

We too have had loads injuries tbf
Seems like recruitments a big issue -particularly defensively ?

We have been playing with one recognised defender in the right position. Today we didn't have one. Nightmare of an injury list.
