We look like a relegation team. About a dozen fit(ish) players and a bench full of u21s![]()
Boro have the same form as us in last 6 games I believe !As it stands, Boro are in great form, Coventry & West Brom dropping points all over.

I’ve posted a few times on this board, points wise, we’re one of the form teams in the league. Across the last 5 & 10 matches. Points wise at least. People are getting hung up on us not annihilating teams. If that was the 1st leg of the play offs today it would be classed as a great performanceBoro have the same form as us in last 6 games I believe !
Only 6 games left. Is there time for a dip? Just seen your last game of the seasonThere is quite a significant gap between 3rd/4th and then 5th/6th.
I also can see us having another dip before the end of the season, considering how our season has gone.
If we manage to make play offs - and that's a big if - it's a huge ask of our team to beat Leeds, Burnley or Sunderland over 2 legs, then again in a final. Anything can happen, but 5th and 6th are massive outsiders.

You could potentially have 4 play off matches.
Looking at your fixtures compared to the other playoff hopefuls, I think Boro will struggle to make them unless you pull off some surprise scorelines. Leeds, Coventry, Millwall away, pretty tough games. Will probably go down to the last game of the season. Our game at Coventry could be massive.
The fixture list has been kind to us recently but we were struggling to beat the bottom end teams earlier in the season. We're now finding a way of breaking teams down.
Howson's return has also been key. He's had to play CB due to injuries but his experience and reading of the game has been massive. We can also play it out from the back much more effectively with him there because he's just so composed on the ball. The guy is adored on Teesside.
I'd fancy us to beat Plymouth and Norwich at home. One surprise win and a couple of draws and that should be enough.Looking at your fixtures compared to the other playoff hopefuls, I think Boro will struggle to make them unless you pull off some surprise scorelines.
