But they don't get slagged off. It's only the fans who give it the big one who get slagged off see Stoke, Coventry etc

You lot couldn't even objectively debate fact Carrick bottles games now something which is a fact.

i work down that neck of the woods and know a few. there's only one that actually goes mind, the rest are just bandwagon jumpers or turn out for the big games.
i would've liked to see them win the other night mind and i think if we'd have met each other in the final there would've been less bother than if we'd have been playing coventry. matters not now though.

Bottled the derby

Bottled automatics when Sheff utd were wobbling

Bottled the playoffs

Which do you disagree with? Man for man you were a much better side than Coventry. Got a result at Coventry and barely laid a glove in the second leg.
 
Boro bottled it big time. They've got a name for bottling games now. The club seems fragile, from the management and players to the fans.

dunno about bottling but its easy to forget we were due on current form to beat huddersfield and go above the blades albeit they still had a game in hand .that result and i think shortly after the offside goal they scored against you we never got near after that.

coventry we needed to use the flanks we were never gonna pass our way through the midfield. we definitely missed a trick coventry were well organised their plan of packing the midfield worked.

You played them 3 times in ten days. If you tactically got it wrong I'd suggest that's on the manager is it not?

My real opinion is that teams have sussed you. Defend the wide areas well and you've got nowt going forward.

Young lad in the middle isn't anywhere near a top championship player yet. Plenty of potential but he's not there at minute. Also don't rate Akprom looked very ordinary for someone who is your big threat.

ramsey getting injured was a big blow to us . he was doing great on the right wing . we needed him to unlock the door. akpom did look ordinary on weds be interesting to see what happens in the summer.
i actually thought you would beat luton before the first leg . despite them beating us i wasnt impressed . we passed rings round them. your thoughts ?

My thoughts are it was pure physicality with us against Luton.
5ft nowt against 6ft plus is never gonna work, but we had no choice really.
Still believe the best 2 footballing sides lost the semi finals.
The difference in my mind is that we never really expected to be there, and have got over it pretty rapid. We are genuinely building and progressing year on year.
I get the feeling that Boro, and the fans saw this as your "chance", and there is not the confidence moving in to next year.
Some of your fans have taken this really badly marra.

aye i watched a bit of it . they definitely would have been more up for it against youse and the occasion helped . but we had jonny howson playing centre back against them and i never saw the physicality . thats why i backed youse anyhow water under the bridge.

yeah coventry stifled us really . aye i definitely think there was a feeling we have missed a trick. but we have things in place behind the scenes a lot more than before so hopefully that will help.so we have been doing a bit building ourselves i would like to think.
ive been supporting them and going to games 50 years plus now so had a fair few downers . i havent rewatched the game but i will
