Boro thread

Think Boro might struggle next year. Four of their best players were on loan (Steffen, Giles, Ramsey and Archer). No idea if Akpom can be consistent or if this season was a flash in the pan. Think this was their big chance and they've blown it.
We will come back stronger, we have a young manager and a good recruitment team.
A shame two sides who can play football didn’t go through to the final.

Boro though, talk about bottling it at the end. Changing the team, dropping results, never the way to enter the play offs. Bad management
A young manager learning his trade.

i will give you a complimentary :D

i think it will be the same for a few clubs with loans and new managers etc and aye we might have blown it agree . steffen can gan back whence he came try and get ramsey and archer back on loan buy giles

Just joking mate. Or am I? Who knows why you sat back against Coventry. Sounds like yous lot were extremely confident of dispatching Coventry in the play offs.

To a point, but we lost important players to injuries right at the back end just before the play offs, Howson (captain) Ramsey, Fry, Forss, Giles, (Giles came back for play offs) Boro we’re already in the play offs so it led to more of a conservative approach and protecting the players and rotating to avoid any more injuries....this probably took away the rhythm they were in....from 3rd bottom late October to 4th top and scoring the most goals is some achievement regardless.

Warnock will be back at Boro in February, Carrick will be moving to a bigger club like Saints,Leicester, Leeds or West Ham, the squad you have now is full of aged mediocrity as Akpom will be gone

Amad will never play in the Championship again. Off to a Premier League club or a club playing in European competitions.
