I’ve had light hearted banter with mags all my life and know how to take it and dish it out but had one of her mates say she “f***ing hates mackem twats” and Sunderland’s a f***ing shithole without a whiff of humour. Turns out she’d never met one nor had she been to Sunderland of course. Made me chuckle.
Girlfriend couldn’t believe it when I brought her through here and went down the beach. Think she was expecting a post apocalyptic hell scape. She wants to move here now

Yeah we’ve both had our eyes opened. Middlesbrough centre and some of the residential bits around it are horrendous but youre right near the Yorkshire dales and some great bits like stokesley, yarm, Whitby etc. surprised me to be fair but I gave it a chance before slating it to all her mates and family like they did to me

Boro take their spending pretty much to the limit that FFP allows. They are losing the impact of parachute payments on their running FFP total so they are going to be careful with what they spend on wages. Probably need to cut back a bit this season. Although selling djed Spence will help them.
